After 18 years leading teams and driving results in corporate retail, La'Rissa Dwyer made the bold decision to stop building someone else's dream and start building her own. Today, she is the co-founder of OBK Winery, the first Black-owned, woman-owned winery in Pierce County, where she has transformed a passion for wine into a thriving local brand and community. At Bigger Than Business, La'Rissa will share the real story behind leaving the security of a successful corporate career, navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship, and becoming the woman capable of building something meaningful from the ground up.

We are hosting the event on Mercer Island at the Community Center: 
8236 SE 24th St, Mercer Island, WA 98040

We chose Mercer Island for the space! The event center has it's own parking lot and the cherry on top- its free 🥳 There is also access to Seattle public transportation to and from the city. 

The all day event is on September 25th, 2026. 
Check in will start at 8:45 and Introductions will start at 9:30am

If you purschased a VIP Ticket you will also have access to VIP Night on September 24th at 6pm. 
This is a smaller more intimate room for you to connect with women who want to deepen connection with other founders.


Depends on how much you want to get out of the conference! General Admission only gives you access to the day of events on September 25th. 
If you want to connect deeper the night prior to the event- grab the VIP ticket! It includes a ticket to a more intimate room of only 30 women. This allows you to have more personalized conversations before the event even starts! Plus a wine bar 😜

Our andentees are women who run businesses across a wide range of industries. We welcome female entrepreneurs from all areas of business. Most of our members are Seattle or Tacoma-based female entrepreneurs passionate about scaling their businesses. Our conversations will be most valuable to female founders committed to scaling their businesses and wanting accountability as they reach for BIG goals.
